“The Amazing Sea Dragon Egg” was published in A Few Little Words II: Memories of the Future, an anthology that features 60 literary works from Tampines and beyond.

Commissioned by Our Tampines Hub, as part of NAC’s Arts & Culture Nodes Network in partnership with the Singapore Writers Festival, and produced by the collective Vertical Submarine.

The story follows a girl who discovered a sea dragon egg at the pond at Tampines Eco Green. Remembering the pet she had lost, she brings the dragon egg home, hoping that by rescuing the egg, she would heal a lingering sense of grief. The egg eventually hatches and the sea dragon becomes part of the family.
